Hong Kong Youth Music Camp, the annual summer event organised by the Music Office, brings together about 400 vibrant young musicians each year! They will receive invaluable guidance from esteemed maestros from overseas, Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong, China, expanding their musical horizons and embarking on an intensive journey of artistic discovery!
Conductors of the Symphony Orchestra, Junior Chinese Orchestra, Children’s Choir, Chinese Orchestra, Symphonic Band and Junior String Orchestra in the music camp are Jean-Philippe Vanbeselaere (France), Dr. Cui Yuanyuan (Chinese Mainland), Dr. Tracy Wong (Canada), Prof. Chen Bing (Chinese Mainland), Prof. Nicholas Williams (USA) and John Sit (Hong Kong, China).
The six maestros will lead the young musicians with unwavering dedication in two captivating concerts, showcasing the fruitful music camp training. Concert II will feature the Chinese Orchestra, Symphonic Band and Junior String Orchestra.
